Follow these basic instructions to extend the life of your product—and always work with a trained installer when performing system checks or service.

Product Care & Routine Maintenance

Routine maintenance is essential for the continued safety and performance of your Miller Edge products. While our sensors are designed for durability with minimal upkeep, regular visual inspections and basic cleaning will help extend product life and ensure dependable operation. Use the instructions below as a guide, and always work with a qualified installer when service is needed.

Cleaning

  • Wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove dirt or dust.
  • Spot clean with a damp (not wet) cloth and mild dish soap if needed.
  • For oil or grease: Apply cat litter, cornstarch, or baking soda to absorb. Let sit, then sweep or vacuum and wipe with damp cloth.
  • Do not paint, power wash, or apply oils/chemicals.

Maintenance

  • Annually:
    • Have a qualified installer perform system-level safety checks
  • If damaged or not functioning, contact a qualified installer or find a distributor

  • Wipe outer housing with a lint-free cloth.
  • Gently clean lenses and reflectors with a microfiber cloth.
  • Do not paint, power wash, or use chemicals.

Maintenance

    • Check wiring for damage
  • Annually:
    • Replace batteries (if applicable)
    • Ensure gaskets are sealed to prevent water ingress (if applicable)
