OPERATOR INTERFACE MODULE

The Solution: Multi-Input Module (MIM) is used to provide a means of connection for multiple monitored external entrapment devices. MIM expands the gate operator board’s capacity to accept an additional six monitored safety devices and provides two outputs. Designed for versatility, MIM auto detects normally closed, pulsed, and resistive device interfaces to allow for use with most operator brands. The compact profile simplifies installation by fitting easily within the gate operator cover.

Compatibility & Applications

Expands input capacity for UL listed gate operators, enabling connection of multiple monitored entrapment protection devices.

Compatible Safety Devices

• Monitored sensing edges, wireless edge systems, and photo optic sensors with:
• 10K resistive output
• Normally closed (N.C.) output
• 2-wire or 4-wire pulsed output

Supported Operators

• Gate operators compliant with the 2016 UL 325 requirements
